* HAZARD TYPES...DANGEROUSLY LOW WIND CHILL VALUES.
* TIMING...COLDEST SATURDAY NIGHT AND SUNDAY MORNING.
* IMPACTS...POTENTIAL FROSTBITE AND HYPOTHERMIA. THE EXTREME
COLD MAY ALSO LEAD TO POTENTIAL FROZEN PIPES.
* WIND CHILL READINGS...DROPPING TO BETWEEN 15 BELOW AND 30 BELOW
ZERO FROM SATURDAY MORNING TO SUNDAY MORNING. LOWEST WIND CHILLS
WILL BE FROM SATURDAY NIGHT TO SUNDAY MORNING OVER THE HIGHER
TERRAIN.
* WINDS...WILL BECOME NORTHWEST 15 TO 25 MPH WITH GUSTS UP TO 45
MPH AFTER MIDNIGHT AND LAST THROUGH SATURDAY NIGHT.
* TEMPERATURES...WILL FALL TO THE SINGLE DIGITS SATURDAY MORNING
AND TO NEAR ZERO SATURDAY AFTERNOON. LOWS SUNDAY MORNING WILL
RANGE FROM 5 BELOW TO 15 BELOW ZERO. LOWEST TEMPERATURES WILL BE
OVER THE HIGHER TERRAIN.
Instructions:
A WIND CHILL WARNING MEANS THE COMBINATION OF VERY COLD AIR AND
STRONG WINDS WILL CREATE DANGEROUSLY LOW WIND CHILL VALUES. THIS
WILL RESULT IN FROST BITE AND LEAD TO HYPOTHERMIA OR DEATH IF
PRECAUTIONS ARE NOT TAKEN.

...A SNOW SQUALL IS POSSIBLE IN THE TWIN TIER REGION OF NEW YORK
AND PENNSYLVANIA MAINLY AFTER MIDNIGHT...
AN ARCTIC FRONT WILL CROSS THE REGION AFTER MIDNIGHT USHERING IN
THE COLDEST AIR OF THE WINTER SEASON. A SNOW SQUALL WITH HEAVY
SNOW, GUSTY WINDS AND NEAR ZERO VISIBILITIES IS POSSIBLE BETWEEN
MIDNIGHT AND 3 AM. AS THE SNOW SQUALL MOVES FARTHER SOUTH INTO
SULLIVAN COUNTY NEW YORK AND THE REST OF NORTHEAST PENNSYLVANIA IT
IS EXPECTED TO FALL APART.
A QUICK INCH OF SNOW IS POSSIBLE WHEN THIS SQUALL PASSES ALONG
WITH WIND GUSTS TO 40 MPH. BRIEF WHITEOUT CONDITIONS ARE POSSIBLE
WHICH COULD MAKE TRAVEL VERY DANGEROUS.
